St. Patricks Day

For St. Patrick's day, Gabriella's teacher sent us a note home asking us to make a leprechaun trap as a family project. They were wanting to catch the pesky leprechaun that had been up to some mischief in their classroom.

Brian and Gabriella worked really hard and came up with this trap. We got a small pot of gold and put it inside of the trap. Gabriella worked hard on helping Daddy make the trap and then she painted the rainbow on the top. We put a trail of lucky charms leading to the pot of gold. Once he grabbed the pot of gold the stick falls out and the door falls down to trap him.

We got him!

The kids made their hats and beards at school.

Amelia made this leprechaun at school.  She was asked where she thought a leprechaun would hide his pot of gold and she replied "in her backyard"
