A trip to Grant's Farm.

Since this summer has been so nice and eventful, we decided one Sunday to take off and meet the Bells at Grants Farm. We went pretty early in the morning to try and keep the girls on a good nap schedule. I haven't been to Grant's Farm in years, so it was almost like it was new to me all over again.

When you first get there, you are loaded onto a tram and driven through an area where the animals are roaming free. It is very nice and relaxing. Once the drive is over you are dropped off where all the goats live. Let me just say this area is CRAZY! I don't know how these goats don't weigh hundreds of pounds by the amount of milk they drink. They know what you have and they will do just about anything to get to those bottles.

Gabriella went in without any issues and started going up to the goats. We didn't buy any milk so she just walked around to pet the goats. Lila wasn't quite as sure about them. Let me just say these goats will knock you down if you aren't watching, so I didn't really blame her :)
If you don't have food with you, they aren't quite as interested, but you do get to see them up close.

Gabriella took her turn on the carousel. Such a lovely picture of me - ugh!
After you leave the farm, you can cross the parking lot to go see all of the Clydesdale's. The sun was right in Gabriella's eyes for this picture, so she was less than thrilled to stand there for me.
You can see every stage of growth. Gary took Gabriella over to see the pony.
We had a great trip and it was fun to go back to Grant's Farm after not being there for so many years. On the way home Gabriella napped for about 5 min, so we went and got some ice cream :) When we got home she dolled herself all up and had a snack out on the front porch. I swear, she put all of this on by herself. This is typically how she looks at our house, but she is only missing her crown.
