Amelia wasn't in the best of moods when she woke up in the morning, but Gabriella did her best to get Amelia excited about her basket. I apologize for Brian's laundry laying all around our house. Too bad the Easter Bunny couldn't have picked up as well :)
The only picture I got of them in their Easter Dresses. We changed when we got home from church into something more comfortable. I also forgot the picture of them with their flowers for the living cross at church.
We had a crazy Easter as usual. We have moved Grandma and Grandpa's egg hunt to the Saturday before so we aren't running all over. Our favorite Easter Egg hunt with the $1 eggs seems to have been cancelled. We have gone to that egg for at least over 20 + years. So we made our way to a different one, where Amelia won a chocolate bunny. Then we ate a quick lunch and headed home for the girls to hunt their own eggs. Amelia was so ready for a nap! She didn't even want to be outside, but Gabriella finally convinced her to join in.

Then we took the girls around the back to see what else was waiting for them. Grandma and Grandpa put money towards a new Jeep that they can both ride. Now before the video...There are two speeds to this thing and a reverse. You would think Brian would put it in slow, but no...I think he was looking to enter something into the America's Funniest Home Videos. No kids were injured in the making of this video, though their father almost needed to be. (Oh and they have gotten a LOT better at driving the Jeep now)
After naps we went over to my Aunt and Uncle's house where the kids were able to do a pinata and another egg hunt. The kids had a great time playing outside with their cousins. The weather really cooperated with the day and it was so nice to be outside. When we got home the girls FINALLY got to open their own eggs before bedtime.
Going through the stash.
Going through the stash.
A little wind down time for the sisters.
We really had a great day. It was busy as could be, but I think we were able to find some down time to really appreciate the day and realize what we are actually celebrating. It was so nice to see the family and let the kids play. I know we go to a lot of egg hunts, but we really enjoy them and they don't really last that long anyway :) We hope everyone enjoyed their Easter!
...Now this concludes the egg hunt pictures for 2012 :)
