Happy Easter!

It's time (finally) to wish everyone a Happy Easter. We had a great day, but with very few naps, but it all seemed to work out alright :)

It was one pretty rainy Easter this year with big storms in the area, but Easter morning for the most part, the sun came out and just made it a happy day to celebrate!

Since it had been so rainy and it looked like we were putting a pool in our backyard, the Easter Bunny found his way into our house to leave some eggs for the girls. The eggs ran from their rooms...

down the stairs, through the kitchen into the living room....

and led to a stash!

We didn't have a whole lot of time to go through the baskets because we had to get ready for church, but we promised when we came back we would pick up the eggs and check out what was in the baskets. Gabriella picked out her flower for the living Cross at church and we headed off.

After church we headed off to Aunt Cathi and Uncle Marty's for the nieces and nephews to hunt their eggs. Amelia had started to look like she was going to start walking but decided to hold off a little longer.

The lighting was a little off in this one, but I thought all the kids looked good. :)

Unfortunately, even though it didn't really rain on Easter everything was so wet that our egg hunts that we go to every year were cancelled. That's the first time I ever remember that happening.
After we went home and went though the baskets and took some naps we headed off to the big family Easter dinner. When we got there, they had an egg hunt with a TON of eggs. Amelia and Jacob sat this year out, but I bet they will be tearing it up next year! Ayla, Brody and Gabriella getting ready!

It was a wonderful Easter where we got to spend some great time with family.
