We went to the Doctor yesterday for Amelia's 6 month appointment. Her stats are as follows:
Length:26 inches long (54%)
Weight: 14 lbs 12 oz (21%)
Head: 16 1/4 (14%)
She got three shots which included the flu shot. Apparently it has hit hard in the last couple weeks so the Dr. highly recommended it. Unfortunately, I think mommy got something like the flu that night and I've still be down today. So maybe it's good she got the shot. Amelia also has her first ear infection :( Poor thing, so she's on her first round of amoxicillin. Hopefully she will be back to herself real soon. She's like her mama with the shots though. She cried before they even gave her one. Poor little girl.
When we sat her down on the table for the nurse to measure her she started crying, so I think she's having some stranger anxiety right now. Gabriella never really went through that too much at this age, so it's something new for us. Makes us feel needed :)
She seems to be right on track with her milestones. She's sitting up and the little stinker is getting up on her hands and knees. She can slow down on that one thank you very much :) She is getting across the floor by wiggling and rolling so nothing is really safe. I think Gabriella is learning that she's going to have to keep things picked up if she doesn't want her sister in them.

And here was our little 6 month celebration! We had 1/2 an oberwiess carrot cake. Yum!
Amelia was looking pretty excited about the cake!
Then she looked bored when she realized she was going to just watch us eat the cake.
