Grandparents Egg Hunt

Grandma and Grandpa had their very own egg hunt on Saturday. We thought we might be too busy on Easter Sunday so this helped us spread our day out.

"Where are my eggs?"

"Oh here is one"

"I found another one!"

After the kids hunt for their eggs. (Each grandchild gets their own color egg) The kids then hide the adult eggs which are the Reese's peanut butter eggs. The adults have an all out hunt where there tends to be a little knock down drag out kind of fight :) This hunt isn't as "fair" as the kids. How ever you find you get...unless someone finds your stash before you leave and steal some from you.

Anyway, last year it was cold and rainy so the kids hid the eggs in the basement. After the hunt, Grandpa found a couple wrappers in the bathroom trash can. So the kids got smart on us and started eating our eggs. This year I had the camera out as they hid the eggs and kept taking pictures of them. Needless to say, they weren't very happy about it, but it made for some good shots.
