One of the last days of summer

We decided to take advantage on the hot weather to head down to the pool before the decided to close it for the year. It always seems like it will be super hot leading up to Labor day and then cool down enough to make the water too cold to swim. So we packed up the stroller and headed down the street.

Gabriella has done so well this summer with her swimming. She started with her very first lesson of only sitting on the side of the pool and refusing to get in at all. Now at the end of the summer, she is jumping in and swimming off on her own. We still use the back floatie, but we are working our way to getting more comfortable in the water. Maybe by next summer she will be able to touch the bottom of the shallow end without her floaties.
