Memphis Vacation!

Brian, Gabriella and I decided it was time to take our first family vacation and Memphis was close enough to pull off :) Gabriella did fairly well on the trip down. As soon as she figured out to sleep in the car again we were doing better! We drove down to make it to Rendezvous, a BBQ restaurant, soon after they opened for the evening. We wanted to get there before there was a long wait. You enter the restaurant through the back alley and really enjoyed our dinner. After dinner we went back to our hotel and let Gabriella check out the hotel bed. Gabriella started walked a little before her birthday. She really took off on our trip to Memphis. Here she is checking out our hotel room. She was able to walk from the bedroom to the sitting room as many times as she wanted. I think she really enjoyed herself. Her favorite game was playing peek a boo around one of the chairs.
While we were in Memphis we met up with a friend. Her daughter Annsley and Gabriella are about 2 months apart. We met up for dinner and then went back to our hotel to hang out and watch the ducks in our lobby.
Annsley taught Gabriella quite a few things while they were together. Annsley has been walking for a little while now and Gabriella took it all in. Gabriella was also blowing kisses after seeing Annsley.

I think they had a good time together.
