2 months old

Gabriella had her 2 month checkup on September 28, 2007. She weighs 10 lbs. 6 oz. and is 23.75 inches long. She is in the 70th percentile for height and 57th percentile for weight. So she is right on track. She got three shots at this appointment which was heartbreaking for Brian and I, but she made it through and fell asleep soon after. She has really changed this last month. She is smiling so much more and gets close to laughing. She loves to look at her elephant on her pack-n-play. She can be crying and if you put her on the changing table...she will smile and "talk" to the elephant. For short periods of time she likes to lay under her gym and bat and kick at her animals. We took her to her first movie. On Tuesdays you can take infants to the first showing of a movie. She slept through most of it, which was good since it was 'R' rated. Whoops! We also had another first. On Saturday, we got into our first car accident. It wasn't too bad, thank goodness. I was waiting to turn into our subdivision when I was rear-ended. Our truck didn't have any damage and the car that hit us had minimal damage. Luckily, we are all pretty much ok.
